Troubleshooting begins here: If your problem is not listed, E-mail AVM Tech Support The below are not problems with the program but rather information that addresses common user problems. If after closing our one of our Clip Art programs Windows 95 indicates
to you that it is still open when you try to reopen the program, it is
likely that you exited the program by clicking on the "X" in the top right
hand corner of your screen. Some versions of Windows 95 do not recognize
that the Clip Art program (written as 16 bit) has shut down when you exit
using this method. To properly exit these programs, you must click File
then Exit.
When you try to copy a second or subsequent images into a program using "Paste" the first image you copied to the clipboard appears. This occurs when you are using Windows 95 and pasting multiple images into a 32 bit program. To paste subsequent images into your document, select the image as you normally would within the MilArt program then in the program that you wish to paste the image into, select "Edit" "Paste Special..." then select "Bitmap". If you do not want the images on your hard drive, delete all image directories. Retain the C:\Milart directory and all files directly under this directory. When you launch your viewer using this method, you must insert your AVM MilArt CD and browse to your CD Drive (ie D:\Milart) and your image files will be under the D:\Milart directory. This permits minimum files on your hard drive. NOTE: Enter your registration number in all caps and without spaces. This applies to all products. General Information (please read before asking for Tech Support) If you load our Viewer Pro Version 4.0 or greater and don’t see any images, read the instructions below before filling out a request for tech support. If you are using an older version of viewer and don't see images read the instructions found HERE.: When using our Viewer Pro Version 4.0 and greater, please note that the program installation does not install graphic images on your hard drive. Images are located on your CD-ROM normally under the Main Directory of Milart or in specific image subdirectories (i.e. Ammo, Armor, Air Assault, etc). Place your Milart CD-ROM in your CD-ROM Drive. To Open and View images: Start the viewer; the viewer is displayed with an empty grid display
or empty form. Select Open file from under the File Menu or click the first
button on the viewer toolbar. The Select Image directory appears. The right
most box designates your current drive (Locate your CD-ROM
To copy an image to the clipboard to past into another application (Word, PowerPoint, etc) Expand the desired image to full size, click on the Copy menu item, select To Clipboard from the drop-down men and the full-size image is ready to paste into your application. If you are using one of the older programs that load the images to the hard drive and don't see images, follow the instructions below:
