About the Author

Frances Richter has lived all of her life in the deep South, most of it spent in the beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina area. She takes an interest in child welfare issues, and volunteers her time and talents working in the community for neglected and abused children.

Her eclectic style and the revealing of intricacies of the Lesbian and Gay communities combined with mainstream Southern existence has captured an integral part of North Carolina culture and diversity.
