About the book

I'm the woman behind the man on the pulpit. I put that smile on his face. His clothes are matching because I picked out that suit and shoes. The man is color blind! I want a husband, lover and friend. I'm tired of being a pastor's wife." The Pastors’ Wives Alliance meets the first Saturday of every month. It was started three years ago to help the local pastors' wives deal with the stress that goes with their prestigious First Lady's title. Biblical principles were used to make sure everything was done in decency and in order.

Excerpts:
I got up and went to the closet to change my clothes. Lord, why do I have to go to a fundraiser instead of watching my lifetime movie? Is anything wrong with me feeling this way?

Lord, everything I planned for my romantic evening has gone wrong. I really wish church folks will leave us alone. Help me to change my attitude. I'm depending on You to make this evening work.

Why is my husband calling me Sista? When did I become Sista Opal to him? Why hasn't God told me the same things that he told Oliver? I don't need a pastor. I need my husband.
