About the Author

Mattie Deed is a native of Uniontown, Alabama, is an alumna of the University of Massachusetts in Boston and Newbury College.  She is an emerging writer, motivational and inspirational speaker, career coach, mother, grandmother, wife and a servant to numerous church ministries.  Mattie is a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Roxbury, MA since 1969.  She lives in Boston surrounded by her daughters, grandchildren, husband and a mommoth of family members and friends.
