Excerpts from the play:
ANNA
“Now I remember. This is why we stopped being friends. You are always so self-centered! Why couldn’t you be happy for me for once! You were the one in high school always getting what you wanted! Prom queen, class president, head cheerleader. I was always there to support you. I was always happy for you. Why couldn’t you be happy for me for once?”

CASSIE
“Just promise me that your girls won’t grow up like me. Ha-ha, that would be a disaster! I mean look at me, I didn’t finish college, live off my parents. I’m a slob, an animal! Goodness, for the past couple of years I’ve been so depressed. Sometimes I think I would be better off dead.”
